The Nano Hone 6000 rounds out the sharpening trio as a very capable finishing stone. This stone cuts faster than most other resinoid finishing stones I have tried and depending on the pressure applied can leave either a very light contrast or a hazy mirror on wide and single-bevel knives. It can build a workable slurry quite readily which will help to polish those wider bevels, then when finishing the edge with lighter pressure you can wash off the slurry and let the stone shine.
We recommend this stone for daily sharpening and honing in instances where a high standard of sharpness must be maintained. This will also be the stone of choice for uraoshi sharpening for single-bevel knives.
