Ceramic Fire Extinguishing Pot
This ceramic pot with a lid called Hikeshi Tsubo is used to put out a fire of charcoal after use. Carefully remove the charcoal from the grill (konro) using tongs and put the charcoal into the fire extinguishing pot one piece at a time. Then close the lid after all the charcoal has been put inside of the extinguishing pot. (Leave the lid closed for a while so the charcoal can gradually be put out due to lack of oxygen).
